Services
Let me begin by acknowledging that if you are looking for a lawyer, the process may quickly become overwhelming. The idea that you might even need help is unsettling, but I want the discomfort to stop there. I believe that the greatest value I provide to my clients has little to do with my years of experience, education, and track record. My greatest value to you is peace of mind, knowing that I will commit every resource I have to defending you. This is what separates me from the rest and remains my commitment.
Below is a list of frequent services that I provide. Every client is unique and will require an equally unique strategy to address their specific defence.

Areas of Practice
- Conflict Negotiation/Alternative Dispute Resolution
Whether you have recently been terminated from your job, or finding yourself in a difficult situation you find no way out of, consider the importance of receiving legal advice. Taking an adversarial stance, going to court and litigating the matter, may not be in your best interest in every situation. More often than not, you stand to gain more by negotiating with the other party to find come to an amicable resolution to the issue. Miscommunication and perspective is often the root cause of the conflict. As a Certified Third-Party Neutral and a track record of resolving cases in an expeditious manner, I can assist you in achieving these results.
Do you believe that your employer has breached your rights under the Human Rights Code of Ontario? These breaches are not always as subtle as, for example, racially derogatory "jokes", sexual harassment, or discrimination in accommodation due to a disability. The vast majority of these breaches under the Code are disguised in unfair and arbitrary discipline, breach of internal policy, favoritism in promotions, or unreasonable accommodations. Breaches of the Code carry serious consequences for an employer found to be engaging in discriminatory behavior. Contact us now and we will assess your case.
- Labour/Employment Grievance
If you believe that your rights under your collective agreement have been breached, we strongly recommend you seek the assistance and advice of your association/union prior to contacting us. Association/union representatives or labour officers employed by your collective bargaining agent have an in-depth understanding of your collective agreement and your rights included therein. If you still have concerns, you have the right to seek the assistance of a lawyer for a second independent opinion on your own.
- Wills and Estates
Having a will is arguably one of the most important things your can do for yourself and your family. Not only can a will legally protect your spouse, children, and assets, it can also spell out exactly how you would like your affairs handled after you have passed on. I offer a package for a will, power of attorney for property, and power of attorney for health.
- Police Services Act related charges
If you have been charged or under investigation for an offence relating to the Police Services Act or associated regulations, we strongly recommend you speak directly to your association or a lawyer so that you are aware of your rights and obligations from the outset. This can be a very stressful time, do not delay.
